Chelsea head coach Graham Potter says the red card for Joao Felix in his Premier League debut will be a ‘learning moment’ for the 23-year-old.
The Portuguese was sent off 58 minutes into his Chelsea debut against Fulham on Thursday, after arriving on loan from Atletico Madrid only a day before.
Potter feels for the supporters, saying losing a player of Felix’s quality, along with Denis Zakaria, was ‘incredibly frustrating’ but asks them to stick with him during a ‘really tough period’.
Chelsea currently sit 10th in the Premier League, winning only one of their last five league games.
