A total of 18 suspects have been arrested in connection with Sunday’s bloody rival cult clash that claimed four lives and left several others injured in Gboko Local Government Area of Benue State.
The Public Telations Officer of the Benue State Police Command, Catherine Anene, said investigation into the matter is ongoing.
The suspected cult members were said to have also moved from street to street, setting ablaze nine houses that were linked to rival members during the clash on Sunday.
Calm has however been restored in the area according to the police.
