There is tension in Farin Lamba and some parts of Riyom Council Area of Plateau State as youths and community members blocked the major highway leading in and out of Jos.
The angry community members are protesting what they called the resurgence of killings in their communities by gunmen.
There are also reports that security operatives sent to the affected areas have been attacked by the angry protesters.
As at the time of filling this report, many travellers have been stranded along Mararaban Jama’a road.
