The Imo State Police Command has confirmed the killing of two of its men at Okpalla in Ngor-Okpalla Local Government Council Area of the state by yet to be identified gunmen.
The command’s spokesperson, Henry Okoye, said the command has deployed its tactical team to the area.
According to him the operatives deployed have been given the marching order to ensure that those behind the killing are apprehended and brought to justice.
Gunmen had ambushed and killed five policemen and a couple at the same Okpala junction about a month ago.
