Oyo Police Command foiled attempt at Taking over Ràdio Nigeria sub station in Ibadan

Oyo stste Police Command has arrested five suspected membres of the Separatist Yoruba nation group who attempted at Taking over the Radio Nigeria ,Amuludun 99.1 FM, Moniya, Ibadan earlier Today.

 

 

 

This was disclosed in a statement issued by the Police Públic Relations Officer, SP Osifeso Adewale that the operatives of the Command while on Intelligence patrols intercepted membres of a group driven by a separatist agenda who Had forcefully hijacked a Radio Broadcast station, Amuludun99.1FM located Around Moniya, Ibadan with the intent to declare Liberation from the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

 

 

The statement reveled that no personnel from the establishment or any other Person were Hurt as the Command responded swiftly in a well coordinated Rescue Operation.

 

 

While condemning the attack , The Police described the act as criminal, unpatriotic and a Clear case of terrorism which Would be meted with adequate sanctioned under the Laws of the land.

 

The arrested suspects are Noah Atoyebi, Male, aged-30, Gbenga Adeleke, Male aged-25, Abdulganiyu Mustafa Kolawole, male, aged-35, Bashiru Kehinde, female, aged 30 and Fajola Elija, male, aged – 45yrs.
