Ahead of the inauguration of the 10th National Assembly, Vice President, Kashim Shettima on Saturday told Senators-elect that the stability of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is far important than the stability of their pockets.
Shettima said this during the valedictory plenary in the upper chamber as he urged the senators-elect to vote wisely on Tuesday June 13th during the election of the principal officers.
Shettima called on the incoming National Assembly members to show commitment to the ideals of democracy promising that the new executive which he is part of will very hard to renew the hope of Nigerians in line with its electioneering campaign.
