Mr AbdulKarim Chukkol has been appointed the acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
He was directed by President Bola Tinubu to take over the affairs of the commission being the Director of Operations.
Mr Tinubu has suspended Abdulrasheed Bawa Wednesday evening indefinitely over “weighty allegations” leveled against him.
