Over One hundred houses were destroyed at Kebbi during a heavy rainstorm.
Windstorm affected over 100 hauses in Zauro town of Birninkebbi Local Government Area.
According to one of the victims Aliyu Tsoho, said strong winds and loud thunder heralded the destruction to his house.
The Kebbi State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) and other relevant authorities undertake an on the spot assessment and provide suncor to those affected.
Speaking to the journalists of the scene, the Executive Director of (SEMA) Abbas Kamba, said the agency has taken inventory of those who affected as well as extent of damage preparatory to providing food, items and building materials to the victims.
He advised urban and rural dwellers to imbibe tree planting to mitigate the impact of windstorm.
The Secretary to the Kebbi State Government Yakubu Tafida, expressed deep sympathy to the victims, on behalf of Kebbi State Governor.
He assured that, Government would provide immediate relief measures to ease the hardship of the victims.
