A family court in the Iyaganku area of Ibadan the Oyo State capital has ordered the remand of Nigerian prankster skitmaker Maruf Abdullahi popularly known as Trinity Guy and a couple Isiaka and Rofiat Ahmed at the Agodi correctional facility.
Trinity Guy and the couple who happen to be the parents of the minor are to cool off in jail till August 3rd 2023 for sexually exploiting a 10 year girl; an offence committed in the Kuola area of Ibadan on December 17, 2022.
The content creator whose pranks at times cross the line; had jokingly asked the underage girl a sensitive question about the male genital.
When the case came up for mention Tuesday July 11th 2023 Magistrate P.O Adetuyibi ordered the three defendants who are being arraigned on a two count charge of conspiracy and sexual abuse of a minor remain in the Agodi correctional facility.
An offence that contravenes the provisions of Section 35 (1) and punishable under Section 35 (2) of the Oyo State Child Rights Law 2006.
