NAF apprehends suspected thieves at Lagos Airport

Guards on duty at the Nigeria Airforce HQ NADC gate at the murtala Muhammad International Airport Lagos today arrested three cable thieves along the airport road by NADC perimeter fence.

 

The federal Airport Authority of Nigeria FAAN in a release by its Director Public Affairs and consumer protection Abdullahi Yakubu-Funtua disclosed that the three suspected thieves were sighted by the guards digging the FAAN underground amoured cable with the aid of a digger, shovel and cutlass.

 

On sighting the NAF guards the thieves ran away as one of the guards opened fire on them and aimed at the shoulder of one of them identified as Usman Musa

 

The other two however escaped and 28years Usman Musa a native of Adamawa State and residing at Ijora area of lagos, sustained gunshot wounds and he was arrested taken to 661NAFH Ikeja
