AFCON 2023: Super Eagles Deserve To Be In Final — Peseiro
Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro has praised his players after defeating the Bafana Bafana of South Africa to earn a place in the final of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
Nigeria defeated South Africa 4-2 on penalties in a keenly contested semi-final encounter at the Stade de la Paix on Wednesday night.
William Troost-Ekong gave Nigeria the lead from the penalty spot in the 63rd minute, while Teboho Mokoena equalised for Bafana Bafana on the dot of 90 minutes.
Peseiro was full of praises for his players for their impressive performance in the game.
