The quarter-finals of the Nigeria Federation Cup Women’s category were concluded on Wednesday with four teams qualifying for the semi-finals.

In a thrilling encounter at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin, Nasarawa Amazons drew 1-1 with Remo Stars Ladies, but unfortunately lost 2-3 in the penalty shootout, sending Remo Stars Ladies to the next round.

At the Cathedral in Enungu, Osun Babes faced a tough challenge against Rivers Angels and were unable to find the back of the net. Rivers Angels won the match 5-0, securing their place in the semi-finals.

Delta Queens exhibited their skills with a solid 2-0 win over Sunshine Queens in Benin City, ensuring their qualification for the next stage of the tournament.

The match between Naija Ratels and FC Robo Queens took place in Lagos and was tightly contested, it ended in a 1-1 draw. However, Naija Ratels won 5-4 in the penalty shootout, and they booked their place in the semi-finals.

According to the Nigeria Football Federation, the finals for both the male and female categories of the 2024 Nigeria Federation Cup will be held at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja, on June 29, 2024.
