The United States of America have sacked their head coach Gregg Berhalter after their poor showing at the Copa America.
They became the first host nation to be eliminated from the group phase after defeats to Panama and Uruguay.
The Federation’s sporting director Matt Crocker.said they were deeply grateful to Gregg for his commitment to the men’s national team and to US soccer over the past five years.
He insisted that Gregg has earned the respect of everyone within the organisation and has played an important role in bringing together a young team and moving the program forward
Former Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp has been linked with the manager’s job
The USA will co-host the 2026 World Cup with Canada and Mexico.
