EFCC invite Bobrisky, Verydarkman over bribery allegations

Ola Olukoyede, Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has ordered an immediate investigation into allegations of bribery against some of its officers.

Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky in a viral video claimed  that EFCC officers collected N15 million from him to drop money laundering charges.

The EFCC’s spokesperson Dele Oyewale said in a statement on Tuesday that the commission has set up a team of investigators to look into the allegations and has invited Bobrisky and Martins Vincent Otse, aka VeryDarkMan, who powered the video, to assist in the investigation at the Lagos Directorate.

“The EFCC wishes to assure the public that the allegations would be thoroughly investigated and the result of the findings made public accordingly,” he said in the statement.

“The Commission is committed to its core values of integrity, courage,  professionalism and collaboration at all times.”
