The Senate on Thursday confirmed the appointment of Olukemi Iyantan representing Ondo State as a Commissioner in the National Population Commission (NPC).
The Confirmation followed the consideration of recommendation made to that effect by its committee on National Identity Card and National Population Commission.
Chairman of the Committee, Senator Abdul Ningi, who presented the report noted that based on credentials made available to the committee and public service pedigree of the presidential nominee, she is deserving of the appointment.
