Nigerian Army Troops clears 4 Boko Haram hideouts, killed 7 insurgents  in Borno

The Nigerian troops have cleared four suspected Boko Haram terrorists hideouts and killed 7 insurgents  in the North East of Bama in Borno State.

The troops of 21 Armoured Brigade in Collaboration with the Civilian Joint Task Force cleared some of the hideouts of the terrorists in Churchur, Mbaiwa, Kashimiri, China, as well as many other newly established villages.

Intelligent Sources told Zagazola Makama, a counter-insurgency expert and security analyst in the Lake Chad region that the troops made contact with the terrorists in the course of the  offensive patrol and eliminated 7 of them.

The sources said that  other terrorists fled their enclaves, leaving behind women, children and the aged, adding that troops successfully burnt down the entire enclaves and rescued some of the women and their children.
