NSITF vows commitment to quality service

The Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) has reaffirmed its commitment to delivering top-tier service to beneficiaries of the Employees Compensation Scheme (ECS). Managing Director of NSITF, Oluwaseun Faleye, made this assurance during a visit from Mrs. Nnenna Akajemeli, the National Coordinator of the Service Compact With All Nigerians (SERVICOM), at the agency’s headquarters in Abuja.

In a statement issued by the NSITF’s General Manager of Corporate Affairs, Nwachukwu Godson, Faleye underscored his administration’s dedication to reforms aimed at enhancing service delivery and transparency within the organization. He emphasized that ensuring quality service is central to the agency’s goals under his leadership.

“We are fully committed to ensuring that all our operations are streamlined and aligned with the highest standards of efficiency, which is essential in service delivery. We see SERVICOM as a key partner in this regard,” Faleye stated.

He further assured that NSITF would go “Above and Beyond” in guaranteeing that ECS beneficiaries receive optimal services. “Quality service delivery is at the core of what we intend to achieve at NSITF,” Faleye added. His leadership, he said, is actively working to reform processes to make them more transparent and efficient, which will lead to greater satisfaction among stakeholders.

Faleye highlighted the need for NSITF’s nodal officer, desk, and focal officers to have a deep understanding of the agency’s operations. He stressed that collaboration with key departments is crucial to achieving tangible results in their engagement with SERVICOM.

As part of these ongoing reforms, Faleye pledged the adoption of an updated Service Charter for NSITF, which will serve as a living document. He noted that the Service Charter would be continuously reviewed to ensure it remains dynamic, interactive, and rigorous. This document will serve as a benchmark for evaluating the agency’s services and improving the Fund’s overall performance.

Speaking at the event, Mrs. Akajemeli emphasized the critical role of quality service delivery in public institutions, particularly agencies like NSITF that are responsible for the welfare and safety of Nigerian workers. She commended the NSITF for the improvements already implemented under Faleye’s leadership and expressed optimism for future enhancements.

Akajemeli called for a strong partnership between SERVICOM and NSITF, noting that this collaboration would be essential in optimizing the agency’s processes and aligning them with global best practices. The ultimate goal, she stated, is to meet the expectations of all stakeholders, especially ECS beneficiaries, through the continuous review and refinement of NSITF’s operations.

“The purpose of this visit is to strengthen collaboration and improve service delivery across NSITF’s operations,” Akajemeli said. She also expressed satisfaction with the visible improvements in service quality at NSITF, commending the new management’s efforts in driving change.

The meeting between NSITF and SERVICOM signals a new chapter in the agency’s quest to deliver better service to Nigerian workers. With a renewed focus on transparency, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, the NSITF appears poised to enhance its impact on workers’ welfare across the country.
