Protesters in Adamawa state have called for the resumption of collation of results from last Saturday’s supplementary election
The collation was suspended on Sunday following the unlawful announcement of the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Aishatu Ahmed also known as Binani, as winner by the now suspended Resident Electoral Commissioner, Hudu Yunusa-Ari.
The protesters, largely supporters of the PDP, Monday were at the state INEC headquarters in Yola to demand justice including a declaration of the PDP governorship candidate Ahmadu Fintiri as winner of the election.
