Omar said ECOWAS’ decision is to work for the peaceful restoration of civilian rule in Niger Republic without any delay and for the use of all the instruments at its the disposal towards attaining the goa
He said in the interim, the region is employing other elements of its instruments and engaging with the military authorities to achieve a desired outcome
The ECOWAS Commission president however added that preparations continue towards making the standby force ready for deployment.
