The body of the late Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo state has arrived in the state for burial.
The remains of Late Akeredolu was immediately taken to the Governor’s office in Akure for a brief Lying in state.
The body was accompanied by Akeredolu’s children and other family members.
Speaking at the brief event, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, described Akeredolu as a courageous leader who stood against injustice.
According to him, the former governor brought rapid development to the state in every sector.
He said Akeredolu would be remembered for prioritising the welfare of workers and the fight against insecurity.
Former Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu will be buried on Friday, February 23,2024, in his hometown of Owo.
