The ruling All Progressives Congress has begun the process of fashioning the tenth National Assembly to fit its dreams and aspirations.
The party has fixed a meeting with Senators-elect and House of Reps-elect for Aso Rock Villa on Monday.
There are strong indications that the APC leadership will advise the potential members of the National Assembly on the way foward as regards the leadership of the 10th Senate and the House of Representatives.
A statement by the National Publicity Secretary of the Party, Felix Morka, said the President-elect and the Vice-President elect will attend the meeting.
The meeting will afford the incoming executive and legislative arms the opportunity to discuss on how to run an effective administration.
The harmonisation of thought has even become necessary following the multi party composition of the yet to be inaugurated 10th Assembly.
The meeting will also help to reach a decision to produce a core loyalists of the party or the President-elect as leaders in the National Assembly to avoid the drama of the 8th National Assembly in 2015.
The Independent National Electoral Commission has declared 98 out of 109 senatorial seats and the ruling party
won 57 Senate seats; the PDP, 29; LP, 6; SDP, 2; NNPP, 2; YPP, 1; and APGA, 1.
For the Green chamber, the electoral body declared 325 out of 360 seats.
The APC won 162 seats; PDP, 102; LP, 34; NNPP, 18; APGA, 4; ADC, 2; SDP, 2; YPP, 1.
