The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission is interrogating the immediate past governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi over allegations of misappropriation of a sum of four billion Naira.
Fayemi reported at the Commission’s Zonal Office in Ilorin, Kwara State on Thursday morning at about 9:47 am amd was immediately taken into a special interrogation room where he was grilled by two EFCC investigators, a source privy to the case told our correspondent.
Fayemi was in company of his lawyer, Adeola Omotunde, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria.
<span;>Although Fayemi was still being grilled till about past 5pm, the source said he may have been releasedrogo home.
