Cameroonian-American singer, Libianca broke into the mainstream with her single ‘People’ which talks about the sadness and loneliness of an increasingly difficult and individualistic society.
Since its release, ‘People’ has grown in popularity internationally and also in Nigeria. The song has now reached a new peak of NO. 2 in the latest installment of the UK Singles Chart (April 14 – 20, 2023).
This sees it become the highest charting African song in the chart’s history as it surpasses the previous peak record of NO. 3 held by CKay’s ‘Love Nwantiti’.
