The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC and Trade Union Congress, TUC appear to have out their differences behind them, as they jointly agree to begin total, indefinite and nationwide strike from Tuesday, October 3.
The two Labour centres say the federal government has completely failed to meet the yearnings of workers and by extention Nigerians.
In a communique at the end of their separate national executive meetings held virtually and jointly read by NLC President, Joe Ajaero and his TUC Counterpert, Festus Osifo, the Labour leaders said the action is shifted to Tuesday, in honour of the country’s independence celebration.
