Nigerian singer and songwriter, Tiwa Savage has released the visuals for her latest single, Stamina, with Ayra Starr and Young Jonn.
Savage announced the release on Wednesday via her verified Instagram page, where she shared a short clip of the visuals.
Clarence Peters, a veteran video director, shot and directed the video. Peters used cultural elements in the video set-up to portray the artists as pantheons of indigenous Nigerian folklore.
In one hour of its release, the video has garnered over 21,000 views on YouTube.
‘Stamina’ is Savage’s first release of 2023, taken from the body of work project also titled ‘Stamina’. She featured Mavin’s princess, Ayra Starr and sound lord, Young Jonn.
The song is a powerful anthem that celebrates hard work and perseverance. Its lyrics explored themes of determination and the need to persevere even in difficult circumstances.
Since its release, ‘Stamina’ has spent four weeks on the Turntable Top 100, peaking at No. 3.
