Leo, son of Croatian soccer star, Ivan Persić displayed a good heart and spirit of sportsmanship on Friday evening after running onto the pitch to console Brazilian star, Neymar Junior.
Neymar was inconsolable after his country lost the quarter final game to Croatia following a penalty shootout that ended 4-2 at the Education City Stadium, Al Rayyan in the ongoing Fifa World Cup, #Qatar2022.
Leo was seen running to the Brazilian star to offer support. Though he was first resisted by the guards around Neymar Jr., he insisted and eventually got Neymar’s attention before giving him a hug to console him for the loss and eventual end of the quest by the South Americans to win football’s most coveted trophy again.
