The death of the award winning South African rapper Kiernan Forbes known by the stage name *A.K.A* has been confirmed by the police in Durban.
35 years old Kiernan was killed in a drive-by shooting on Florida Road on Friday night February 10, 2023.
Another person believed to be the rapper’s bodyguard, was wounded, while an unidentified person, said to be a close friend of A.K.A, was killed.
A.K.A was reportedly standing outside the Wish Restaurant when some unknown persons opened fire on him.
The rapper who was due to perform at a Durban night club, YUGO as part of activities to mark his birthday was born on January 28th 1988 in Cape Town.
