Just in: Ten killed in attack on Southern Kaduna community
At least ten people have been killed after some gunmen attacked Unguwar Wakili in Zango Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The authorities have reacted by slamming a 24-hour curfew on the communities affected and prevent further attacks.
A statement by the local government authorities said the curfew is immediate and covers Ungwan Juju, Mabuhu, Ungwan Wakili, and Zangon Urban communities. The statement said the move is to alloww the Nigerian Army to restore peace in the area.
The Kaduna State Police is yet to officially react to the attack.
