Jandor condemns attacks on voters in Lagos

The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic party in Lagos State, Olajide Adediran popularly called Jandor has decried the harassment and intimidation of voters by thugs and the disruption of the voting process in different parts of the state.

 

Adediran in company of his wife, Mariam, made the allegation while speaking with journalists after casting his vote at polling Unit 001 in Irewe community Ojo Local Government Council Area of the state on Saturday.

 

He said such acts allegedly by thugs loyal to the ruling party is anti democratic and be checked by the authorities. He called on the police to bring those carrying out the acts and their sponsors to book. He also called on his supporters to remain resolute in exercising their franchise and not gibe in to intimidation.
