The PDP campaign council in Adamawa state has called for the removal of the current Resident electoral commissioner in Adamawa State, Hudu Yunusa Ari accusing him of conniving with the opposition APC to scuttle the Governorship election in the state.
The Deputy Director General South, PDP Campaign council, Adamawa state, Felix Tangwami who briefed journalists in yola the state capital on wednesday says the PDP has uncovered a fasle submission made by the Resident electoral commisioner to its Abuja headquaters indicating that election was cancelled in 77 polling unit contrary to 69 cancellations announced by the returning officer.
The PDP in Adamawa state is also calling on relevant law enforcement agencies to investigate and sanction the resident electoral officer for his role in undermining the electoral process
The independent National electoral commission INEC had on Monday declared the Adamawa state governorship election inconclusive and will conduct a supplementary election in the state on wednesday 29 march 2023
