Keke Palmer secures full custody and restraining order against baby daddy amid allegations of domestic abuse

In a legal victory, American actress and singer Keke Palmer has been granted full custody of her 8-month-old son, Leodis “Leo” Andrellton Jackson, and successfully obtained a restraining order against the child’s father, Darius Jackson.

According to Radar Online, the court granted Palmer temporary sole custody on Friday, November 10, 2023. Additionally, the court mandated that Jackson surrender his guns and firearms to the police within the next 124 hours, to be stored until the resolution of their case.

As part of the restraining order, Jackson is required to stay 100 yards away from Palmer and their son and is currently denied visitation rights. A court hearing scheduled for December will determine the permanent custody arrangements for Leo.

The legal proceedings were set in motion on Thursday, November 9, 2023, when Palmer filed for full custody, citing allegations of domestic abuse against Jackson. In the court documents, she detailed instances of physical abuse spanning two years, including a recent incident where Jackson trespassed into her home, physically attacked her, and stole her phone after she threatened to call the police.

Accompanying the legal filing were stills from CCTV footage in Palmer’s home, providing evidence of the alleged assault. The court’s decision marks a crucial step in Palmer’s efforts to protect herself and her son from further harm.
