Self reliance, 800 Youths get skills training in Kebbi.

Eight Hundred youths men and women get training on various skills needed such as shoe making, soap making, makeup, tailoring and catering and others.

The Kebbi State Commissioner of Woman Affairs and Social Development Halima Kamba who represents the wife of Kebbi State Governor Nafisa Idris urged the beneficiaries to be self reliance and development their self, she added that to use what they had learnt to make positive impact on the lives of the people in addition to using start up items given to them judiciously.

She assured women and youth in the state her Excellence  readiness to continue support them.

Speaking with journalists after Graduation Ceremony the Kebbi State Commissioner of works and Transport, Farouk Muslim commended the Organizers he said would go a long way in making the trainees self reliant and productive members of the society, calling on the graduants to intensify efforts in improving their businesses.

In his speech,  State Director Primary Health Care, Muhammad Umar said the aim of the training was to make the youths self reliant and productive members of the society, commending the wife of the Kebbi State Governor Nafisa  Idris for her support and contributions to the trainees.
