Daniel Bwala Issues Stern Warning to Obi Supporters: ‘If You Worry Me, I Will Visit Your Matter’

Former aide to PDP’s Atiku Abubakar, Daniel Bwala, sends a clear message to critics, particularly supporters of Labour Party’s Peter Obi. Bwala’s journey from APC to PDP, and now potentially back to APC, sparks controversy online.

Daniel Bwala, once a key figure in the PDP camp during the 2023 elections, finds himself under fire from social media critics after expressing his support for President Bola Tinubu’s government. His shift away from the APC in 2022, following the party’s controversial Muslim-Muslim ticket decision, raised eyebrows.

Despite taking on the role of spokesperson for the Atiku campaign, Bwala surprised many by hinting at a return to the APC following a meeting with President Tinubu on January 10, 2024, at the Aso Rock Villa in Abuja.

In a bold statement to State House correspondents, Bwala declared his commitment to support Tinubu’s government, even if it meant leaving the PDP. This announcement triggered a wave of criticism from various political circles, including APC, PDP, and notably, supporters of Labour Party’s Peter Obi, playfully referred to as ‘Obidients.’

The backlash intensified after Bwala’s recent post on X (former Twitter) on January 27, 2024. In response to ongoing online criticism, he warned Labour Party supporters, stating his readiness for a “mud fight” and vowing to target Peter Obi in the process.

“Labour Party in red. Dey your Dey, make I Dey my Dey! Nobody worry nobody. If Una worry me, I go visit Una matter, and I go go harder on Pitobi matter like my brother Reno ohh. Nobody worry nobody,” read Bwala’s tweet.

As the political drama unfolds, Bwala’s confrontational stance raises questions about the dynamics of party loyalty and the willingness of public figures to weather online criticism in the ever-evolving landscape of Nigerian politics.
