50-year-old man killed by train in Oshodi
A 50-year-old man identified as Emmanuel tragically lost his life after being struck by a moving train in Lagos on Tuesday. The Lagos State Police Command confirmed the incident, which occurred around 9 a.m. near the ARENA Shopping Complex in Oshodi.
Police spokesperson SP Benjamin Hundeyin revealed that the victim’s younger sister reported the accident to the Mosafejo Police Division after receiving a distressing phone call about her brother’s death. Detectives swiftly responded, visiting and photographing the scene, before transferring the case to the Railway Police Command in Ebute-Metta for further investigation. The body was taken to a public morgue for autopsy.
