In a somber response to the tragic news of the killing of two traditional rulers in Ekiti State, President Bola Tinubu has expressed profound grief over the demise of the Onimojo of Imojo-Ekiti, Oba Olatunde Samuel Olusola, and the Elesun of Esun-Ekiti, Oba David Babatunde Ogunsola. Condemning the mindless and brutal bloodletting, President Tinubu assures that the perpetrators will face the full force of justice.

The President extends his heartfelt condolences to the families and subjects of the traditional rulers, Governor Biodun Oyebanji, and the entire people of Ekiti State, acknowledging the deep agony caused by this distressing development. The loss of revered community leaders is a blow to the rich cultural heritage and stability of Ekiti State.

In a parallel directive, President Tinubu underscores the urgency of the situation by ordering the immediate rescue of pupils and teachers who were kidnapped in the vicinity of Eporo-Ekiti.
