It was the Super Eagles, that eventually won in the shootout.
The coach says looking at the performance of South Africa one expects nothing less than victory but with penalties and eventual defeat, it is hard to accept.
He however said he was proud of his players for putting up a courageous fight
Bafana Bafana will now face Congo Democratic Republic in the third-place final on Saturday.
