President Muhammadu Buhari is presiding over an extraordinary meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) at the PresidentialVilla in Abuja.
The meeting is coming six days to the expiration of his tenure as Nigeria’s president and a day ahead of the valedictory FEC meeting for the government’s final farewell and review of its activities and achievements. About 40 memos are being presented for deliberation and approval at the deliberation which started at exactly 12:20 on Tuesday.
In attendance at the meeting are the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, the National Security Adviser (NSA), Major General Babagana Mungonu (rtd.)and some cabinet ministers.
