Kebbi State Governor Bagudu says, the incoming administration of Bola Tinubu would sustain the feat achieved by President Muhammadu Buhari in agriculture.

He said Tinubu would not only make Nigeria’s food secured, but also export agricultural produce to other countries.

The governor made this statement when he received the executive members of RIFAN from Sokoto and Kebbi States, led by the National Chairman, Alhaji Aminu Goronyo, who paid him a Sallah homage at the Government House in Birnin Kebbi.

He said he believed that the incoming administration of Bola Tinubu will build on the legacies of President Muhammadu Buhari, making the country not only food secured but also an exporter of agricultural produce.

Bagudu revealed that RIFAN has remained an active stakeholder in the rice value chain of the Federation and Kebbi State, which has enhanced rice cultivation, as well as improved the economic prosperity of farmers.

The National Chairman of RIFAN, Alhaji Aminu Goronyo, described Governor Bagudu as a mentor and a leader who has been honoured with the position of the great patron of RIFAN.

He said the agricultural revival actualized by the governor energized rice farmers to increase yields, and spread positive effects throughout the nation, making the state the rice hub of the federation.
