Former Vice President and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the 2023 presidential election, Atiku Abubakar, is attending the day 4 session of Presidential Election Petition Court in Abuja.
Accompanied by prominent members of his party including former Cross River State Governor, Liyel Imoke, Atiku is accompanied by Liyel Imoke, an ex Governor of Adamawa State, Bonny Haruna, Babangida Aliyu, another former governor of Niger State, Uche Secondus, a former Chairman of the PDP, Raymond Dokpesi, founder of Daar Communications among others, Atiku arrived at the Court on Thursday morning and was welcomed by his team of lawyers.
In the filled courtroom, Atiku was seen exchanging pleasantries with the teams of lawyers including those in the opposing camp as one of his lawyers, Chris Uche (SAN), introduced him.
Atiku and his PDP, are part of the parties challenging the outcome of the February 25, 2023, presidential election won by a former Lagos State Governor Bola Tinubu, who ran for the election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress.
