Nigerian music sensation Burna Boy continues to shatter records on the global stage, solidifying his position as a trailblazer in the international music scene. Burna Boy recently achieved yet another historic milestone by becoming the African artist with the highest-grossing venue in the United States.

In an announcement by Touring Data on X, it was revealed that Burna Boy’s electrifying concert at the TD Garden Arena in Boston grossed an astounding $1.593 million, surpassing his previous record set at Madison Square Garden in 2022.

During his groundbreaking performance, Burna Boy captivated a sold-out crowd at the 19,000-capacity TD Arena Garden, marking a highlight of his ‘I Told Them’ Tour. The tour, which has already generated a staggering $11,659,531 from 11 reported shows out of the 22 stops, showcases Burna Boy’s unparalleled appeal and global acclaim.

Burna Boy’s remarkable achievement underscores his unrivaled status as the foremost African artist on the world stage. Since making his international breakthrough in 2018 with the chart-topping single ‘YE’, Burna Boy has consistently pushed boundaries and achieved unprecedented success for an African artist.

Affectionately known as the ‘African Giant’, Burna Boy holds the distinction of being the only Nigerian artist with two Diamond-certified songs in France, namely ‘On The Low’ and ‘Last Last’. Additionally, his Grammy-nominated fourth album ‘African Giant’ made history as the first Nigerian album to receive a platinum plaque in France.

With an impressive tally of 10 Grammy nominations, Burna Boy holds the record for the most Grammy nominations by a Nigerian artist.
